Schitt’s Creekwas an awards darling when it was on air, and for good reason. Following the Rose family as they’re forced to leave their lavish lifestyle behind — and move into a motel in a small town instead —Schitt’s Creekis one of the greatest examples of character growth in pop culture. It takes flawed and unlikable players and turns them into beloved and well-developed icons.
If the Rose family’s impressive character growth isn’t enough to sellSchitt’s Creek, its standout humor, heartfelt bonds, and iconic one-liners surely will. This series takes some time to find its footing in season 1, but once it does, everything about it is a 10/10. The performances are spot on, the writing’s brilliant, and even the backdrop is iconic.

Schitt’s Creekis the sort of show to make viewers laugh and cry — sometimes at the same time — and that alone makes it a must-watch for most people. All six seasons are streaming on Hulu, so it’s easy enough to power through this incredible series.
