Krakoa is physically strong enough to fend off Legion inGiant-Size X-Men #1, andDark Phoenix was virtually inaccessible for Legionfor a large portion ofGiant-Size Dark Phoenix Saga. Butif Legion’s psionic abilities break through Wanda Maximoff’s mind, Legion might be capable of using the Scarlet Witch’s near-limitless magic to reshape the whole universe to his image.Legion possesses a wide range of psychic abilities andScarlet Witch is at the peak of her power duringHouse of M, though Wanda is also overcome with rage and doesn’t know how to control her magic.
Legion’s psionic abilities include omega-level telepathy, reality manipulation and power absorption, which could grant him access to Scarlet Witch’s mind while bypassing physical confrontation entirely. Legion could begin by infiltrating Wanda’s consciousness through telepathy or astral projection. Once inside her mindscape, Legion could further destabilize Wanda’s psychic structure and deactivate, copy, or engage Wanda’s reality-warping power. Then, Legion could erase Kamala Khan from history, create a paradox, or completely reshape the universe to his will.

Legion Isn’t Prepared To Beat Wanda Maximoff And Kamala Khan
While Legion is extremely powerful and possesses all the abilities he needs to turn the events ofHouse of Magainst Scarlet Witch, his track record doesn’t place the odds in his favor. Even beforeKamala Khan unlocked her mutant powers, Ms. Marvel helped Krakoa and Jean Grey fight Legion, who abandoned his efforts inGiant-Size X-Men #1andGiant-Size Dark Phoenix Saga.With Kamala stepping on his heels, Legion may not be able to break into Wanda Maximoff’s mind in time.
All versions ofHouse of Min the multiverse have been overturned — even the mainstream iteration of the event started by Wanda Maximoff. If Legion defeatsScarlet Witchand steals her powers, it may still be possible for Kamala Khan to undo Legion’s attack. Kamala could either take on Wolverine’s lone survivor role fromHouse of Mor time-travel to a point in the timeline where she has a chance to defeat Legion once and for all.
