Airing April 22 at 8:30 p.m. ET on the network, season 3, episode 15, “Passing the Bar,” will also be available to stream next-day on Peacock. The official logline reads: “Abby gets more than she bargained for when she offers to help Wyatt’s friend stay sober for the night. Dan and Julianne battle for the best prize in Gurgs’ annual evidence locker lottery.”

ScreenRant’ssneak peek opens withAbby and Wyattat a bar searching for Goose, who is likely the latter’s friend referenced in the synopsis. Dan makes his way over with a drink in hand to accuse Wyatt of lying about how old he is. He claims that they both survived the Summer of Sam, prompting Wyatt to ask if Dan thinks they’re the same age. Abby is focused on finding Goose and tries to return to her search, until Dan reminds her that she quit running.

Based on the original 1984 sitcom of the same name,Night Courtfollows Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory) as Harry Stone’s daughter, Abby. Abby follows in her late father’s footsteps and takes his place as judge, even prompting John Larroquette’s Dan Fielding to return to the courtroom. While there have been several cast changes since the pilot, Lacretta, Nyambi Nyambi, Wendie Malick, and Gary Anthony Williams star alongside Rauch and Larroquette inNight Courtseason 3.

There are only a handful of episodes left until the finale, and NBC has yet to renew the series for another season. While freshman comediesSt. Denis MedicalandHappy’s Placehave both received season 2 orders,Night Court’sfate remains in limbo alongsideLopez vs. Lopez. The network still has time to greenlight both shows, so fans have their fingers crossed for Abby to return to court duringthe 2025-2026 TV season.
