Gongora, himself, doesn’t know if that’s possible, but with what’s already been seen ofDandadanseason 2, it would be stranger if that didn’t happen.

While Abel Gongora isn’t treatingDandadanseason 2being better than season 1 as a definitive fact, fans should already have a good idea of how great season 2 will be. The theatrical preview forDandadanseason 2 is finally out, and while it only shows the first three episodes,Dandadanseason 2’s theatrical preview makes it clear that season 2 will have all the same creative and all-around great animation as season 1, even surpassing it in some regards. Season 2 will only get better from there, and that leaves plenty to be excited about for the entire run.
Complementing the animation, of course, is the stellar direction.Dandadan’s visuals are only as good as they are because of the direction given to every scene in service of the story, and if the theatrical preview is anything to go on, thenDandadanseason 2’s overall direction will do an even better job of conveying everything great about the story than season 1. Fuga Yamashiro even said that Abel Gongora knows how to do things he never would have even thought of, so it’s clear just how much of a boon his presence will be to the overall production.
