It’s easiest to collect these Lost Gestrals along the way as you explore each area of the Continent. However, if you miss one, it’s not a big deal because you can always return later. You can get the first two in Act 1 in the main starting area outside Spring Meadows, butyou’ll want to avoid the Burgeon enemy outside Stone Wave Cliffs if you are under-leveled. Once you area able to swim and pass through corals, you’ll have access to Lost Gestrals 3 to 6, and you’ll need to be able to fly on Esquie for the final three.

The final reward for finding all Lost Gestrals is the Pro Retreat Pictos, which is an excellent passive Lumina ability that allows instantaneous flight from battle.
