Our Take On The Talamasca’s First Look
The Talamasca Needs To Set A Higher Bar Than Mayfair Witches
Mayfair Witchespremiered in 2023 with a promising cast led by Alexandra Daddario, which should have been a huge victory for AMC’s Immortal Universe. However, with two seasons in the books,Mayfair Witcheshas consistently underperformed in terms of critical acclaim, despite moderate improvements in Rotten Tomatoes scores going into season 2. If AMC wants to establish an effective shared universe,The Talamascaneeds to be hard-hitting, withreviews matching what the studio has achieved withInterview with the Vampire, lest audiences lose interest before the Immortal Universe can really take off.
