Apex Legends Season 13 Storm Point Changes

Storm Point is getting some attention inApex LegendsSeason 13, as well as serving as the first half of the Ranked Split. Beyond some minor quality of life changes and general adjustments/tweaks, there are two major changes to Storm Point: the Downed Beast POI and the IMC Armories.

TheDowned Beast is a new high-tier loot areawhere players can loot and fight inside, on top of, and all around a downed monstrous sea beast. There are also flyers overhead, and with its placement on the map, it introduces a few new rotation routes.Apex Legends Season13 only adds a new POI; it doesn’t make enormous changes to others. Furthermore, the design standpoint is also hoping to bring players away from Barometer and to this side of the map.

Apex LegendsSeason 13’s IMC Armoriesare new PvE “minigames” where players face waves of Spectres to acquire “smart” loot. This loot will target the player’s kit and give improvements based on it. There are also weapons in and near them, making it a good loot farming spot early, mid, and late game. Also, because the Armories lock after players enter, they do not have to worry about being third-partied while in them.
