Assassin’s Creed Originswas the franchise’s first step into the realm of fully-formed RPGs, as opposed to the action/adventure games they had been up until that point.Assassin’s Creed Originswas amuch longer adventureand was still missing many of the hallmarks of the genre, but there was one thing that the series has never been short on. Lots of different clothes to wear.

The various Assassins have always been able to play dress-up in all sorts of thematically appropriate outfits, and Bayek is no exception with the beautifully createdplains of Ancient Egypt to explore. There are plenty of purchasable outfits available on the in-game & UPlay storefronts, as well as a bunch that can only be obtained by completing in-game challenges.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Pharaoh Armor

Updated on July 18, 2025, by Gerardo Molina:Most of the outfits in the game serve only as a stylistic choice and a form of expression; however, that’s not what makes them interesting. If players look closely and take their time to find all the available outfits in the game, they’ll discover that a considerable number of them are inspired by Roman and Egyptian cultures.

This title showcases many of the classical elements that both cultures' soldiers and generals are often portrayed wearing in period films. Whether Bayek wants to fulfill his destiny looking like a mighty pharaoh or lurk from the shadows looking like the Prince of Persia, there’s no shortage of options.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Dress Of The Coastal Realm

15Pharaoh Armor

An Attire Fit For A Ruler

An armor set fit for a true Pharaoh of Egypt, this outfit is counted among the most ornate sets in the game. The outfit consists of golden armor parts worn alongside fine leather belts and cloth and is perfect for players that like to show off. The outfit can be acquired via purchase for 500 helix credits or from Heka chests using in-game currency. However, players must be mindful as they can quickly run out of in-game money while chasing the outfit. The Pharaoh Armor is a great addition to Bayek’s inventory, as the game is set in the final years of the Egyptian pharaohs. Wearing armor that only these mighty rulers could have donned is not only historically accurate, but also a great way to honor their culture.

14Dress Of The Coastal Realm

Can Be Bought With Coin Or Blood

This is an interesting attire, as it seems to be both for sailors and a way of paying homage to them. The mixed blues & greens are nice, bright colors that bring impressions of the ocean, while the overall design of the outfit gives it the practicality that sailors would need.

There are two ways to obtain this item. The first is by buying it from a tailor, simple but pricey at 5000 Drachma, so somefast farming methodswill be needed for this. Otherwise, this item can be bought with blood. Players must go to the Krokodilopolis Arena in Faiyum Oasis and fight until The Slaver is encountered. Beating them unlocks the outfit. Naturally, resource-wise, it makes a lot more sense to get this outfit from the arena, but if players wish to avoid bloodshed and have the funds to splurge on the Dress of the Coastal Realm, that would be the ideal choice.

Bayek walking while wearing the Roman Venator outfit

13Roman Venator

An Interesting Take On A Roman Soldier’s Attire

A retexture of the Roman Legionary outfit, the Roman Venator takes an excellent costume and makes it even better. While the Legionary outfit is available in red, the Venator outfit is available in black and suits Bayek better as an assassin.

The outfit is obtained as a reward for fighting at the Cyrene Gladiator Arena in Kyrenaika. Bayek must defeat the fighter known as The Hammer on Elite Difficulty after which the outfit will be added to the inventory. It is best paired alongside Roman-themed weapons for a full Legionnaire experience. Since Rome was already a force to be reckoned with during the period in whichAssassin’s Creed Originsis set, wearing a Roman Legionnaire’s armor makes perfect sense and helps make the experience more immersive thanks to the historical accuracy this outfit provides.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Bathhouse Outfit

12Bathhouse Outfit

Revealing And Funny

The developers have never been afraid to inject a little humor into the very serious quests of heroes in the franchise, and this outfit is an example of that. Featuring naught but a bath towel around Bayek’s waist and one draped over his head. It may make Bayek stand out in a crowd, but it’s worth it for a glimpse at those chest muscles.

Unlocking this outfit requires completing a quest in the main story called “End of the Snake”. Bayek is hunting the order member known as The Snake, and the search leads him to a bathhouse. Bayek enters as a patron, donning this outfit, and kills The Snake while he’s there. After this, the outfit can be worn at any time. While it will certainly catch a few eyes if worn in public, the heat of Ancient Egypt more than justifies wearing as little clothing as possible.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Roman Manius

11Roman Manius

An Outfit Meant Only For Prestigious Roman Officers

Despite being set in Egypt, the Romans (specifically, Julius Caesar) play a big role in the plot ofAssassin’s Creed Origins.Rome has had a big influenceon many titles in the franchise and this influence extends to Bayek’s wardrobe, with this outfit that takes the Legionary dress and makes it a lot fancier.

This outfit can be unlocked at the Cyrene Gladiator Arena in Kyrenaika. Players must challenge the arena in Elite Mode (which is unlocked by beating it in Normal Mode) and defeat The Duelist. Doing this on Normal Mode unlocks the Roman Legionary outfit, but Elite Mode unlocks the much fancier Roman Manius. This outfit does not only look incredible, but it also conveys the message that the wearer is not a simple soldier, but rather a high-ranking official in the Roman army. An honor, few men had back in those days.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Past Assassin Outfits

10Altair, Ezio & Edward Outfits

A Great Callback To The Franchise’s Heroes Of The Future

Previous assassins from the franchise always get their iconic costumes in newer games at some point. Bayek himself has his outfit available inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. These outfits will be instantly recognizable to any fans of the older game and can be fun to run around within a new environment, it could even fit canonically, as the animus has already processedthe adventures from previous games.

All of them are unlocked via the same method, which is using the Ubisoft Club rewards. Each one costs 40 credits. These credits are relatively easy to earn, with every Ubisoft game having ways to earn them. Players who have been fans of the franchise for a while will no doubt have plenty saved up. While wearing these outfits will throw any trace of historical accuracy out the window, it’s a welcome throwback to many of the franchise’s greatest hits. And then again, the game has flaming horses, so wearing assassin armor from the Crusades or the Renaissance period will likely make no difference. Besides, the thought of Altair and Ezio running around Egypt with much better graphics than those available when their games came out, is surely exciting to many hardcore fans.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Black Hood Outfit

9Black Hood

A Just Reward For Defeating Phylakes

A costume for the perfect Egyptian assassin, the Black Hood combines leather pieces with black cloth with some gold accents for a stunning outfit. Despite the name only mentioning a hood, players will get a complete outfit including a leather chest piece, shoulder guards, bracers, and some leg protection.

Acquiring the outfit is challenging as players will need to take down the powerful Phylakes across Egypt and take their keys. Once all keys are collected, the game will direct players to a spot in the river Nile where they have to swim underwater and loot the chest for the outfit.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Celestial Raiments

8Celestial Raiment

A Great Outfit With Chinese Influence

This is a rather bulky set of armor, but one that looks very pretty. This outfit traces its origins back to Chinese culture, as it was worn in battle by those who had a Mandate from Heaven. This usually meant a King, Emperor, or some kind of ruler.

Getting hold of this outfit involves going onto the game’s Helix store, where many outfits that don’t necessarily fit in the game’s world, live. This outfit is part of the “Eastern Dynasties Pack”, which costs 1000 Helix Credits, which is about $10 worth. Understandably, microtransactions are something most players dislike; however, the good news is that, in this case, spending hard-earned money on this outfit is completely optional.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Persian Prince Outfit

7Persian Prince

A Callback To Another Ubisoft Classic

The Persian Prince outfit is a reference to Ubisoft’s older but belovedPrince of Persiaseries. The outfit consists of metal armor pieces worn over red cloth, an array of leather belts, and small pouches along the body. It suits Bayek quite well and is a treat for players who favor stealth and fast attacks.

The outfit can be bought from the various tailors across Egypt for a total of 2,000 drachmae. It isn’t costly but still can set back players a bit financially. If the outfit isn’t available at a particular time, players can check back later or try other tailors found in the world.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Shadow Warrior

6Shadow Warrior

A Stealthier Approach To The Famous Assassin Outfit

Many fans ofAssassin’s Creedhave often found it odd that, despite being killers who are supposed to stick to the shadows, they wear white. It’s pretty, but it’s hard to deny that it stands out somewhat. For those who want a much stealthier look, the Shadow Warrior outfit gives them the black attire they’re searching for.

This outfit is another that requires a trip to the Helix store and a dip into the wallet. This outfit is part of the “Nightmare Pack”, which will also give players the Abyssal Steed as a mount, and a few shadowy-looking weapons. It costs 1500 Helix Credits, which is roughly $15.
