They did this by luring every single one of the Absolute’s zealots outside the towers. Since this area is surrounded by deep water, which is classified as a chasm,they were simply able to push each one of their enemies to their deaths. They even managed to pull a similar trick on top of the towers and pick off a few of theNecromites without alerting Ketheric Thorm.
Approaching thebattle for Moonrise Towersin this way will cause you to lose out on quite a lot of loot, but if you’re more focused on quickly getting your enemies out of the way, this is a very effective route to take.
This goes to show thatweaker abilities don’t become obsolete as you progress through the game- many more tactics can be put together with this cantrip. Illusion School wizards get a variant of Minor Illusion that uses a bonus action to cast instead of the usual action, sohaving a wizard in your partycan make your combat techniques even more flexible.
