The story picks up aftertheWe Are Yesterdaystoryline, which featured wild time-travel shenanigans that left several DC heroes from the past and future stranded in the present, including Helena Wayne.
Huntress begins the issue wearing one of her more traditional costumes, but halfway through,she receives a major suit upgrade and power boost from a mysterious strangerfrom the future.

Justice League: Dark Tomorrowintroduces a mysterious time-travelerwhoarrives at the Watchtowerlooking for help. He refuses to reveal his real name out of fear of causing a paradox, choosing to go by Legend. He warns that all time-travelers, including those currently stranded in the present, are being hunted by Omega Demons who are picking them off one by one.
Recognizing the severity of the threat, Mister Terrific assemblesa team of displaced heroes to assist Legend in hunting down the Omega Demonsbefore more lives are lost. Among the selected heroes is Huntress, who joins the mission to stop the deadly time-hunting creatures and prove once again that she’s one of the most capable fighters in the DC Universe.
Aboard Legend’s timeship, Helena receives a new suit and advanced weapons specifically designed to take on the Omega Demons.The new outfit keeps her classic purple and black aesthetic but upgrades it with a sleeker look, featuring cut-off sleeves, a high neckline, and a sharp black mask that replaces her usual purple one, giving her an even more stunning presence.
Huntress’s New Costume Comes With a Major Power Boost
Huntress’s upgraded suit is oneof her most badass yet, and not just visually. It comes with an enhanced arsenal that includesboth her signature crossbow and a powerful bo staff.These aren’t ordinary weapons, and Helena quickly proves it in battle, using the new tools to face down a supernatural threat unlike anything she’s encountered before.
When wielding her bo staff, it erupts into a purple flame, radiating with otherworldly energy. The weapon’s power is made clear when Helena remarks,“Normally I couldn’t imagine a bo staff doing much damage against anything demonic… then again, this isn’t an ordinary staff.”Moments later,Huntressslices through Omega Demons with ease, cementing this look and arsenal as one of her fiercest.
