Big Brother 25was a whopping 100 days long, the longest in the show’s history, whileBig Brother 26lasted 90 days. Several other seasons have been close to 100 days long, but the shortest wasBig Brother 10at 71 days.

What A Shortened Season Means For Big Brother 27

Sometimes Less Is More

AlthoughBig Brotherfans love watching as much of the show as possible, the longer seasons have dragged on, while the shorter ones were more exciting. At 100 days,Big Brother 25was especially taxing to watch, especially towards the end, when the houseguests seemed burnt out and everyone, including the fans, was more than ready for it to end.

BecauseBig Brother 27is shorter, there will most likely be more than one double eviction. This could start in the first week as the Mastermind twist could result in two houseguests going homeif the Accomplice is uncovered by their fellow contestantsand the first live eviction takes place on Thursday night.

A shortened season means thatthe game will feel more fast-pacedand leave fans wanting more instead of making the show tedious to watch at the end. While it’s surprising thatBig Brother 27is significantly shorter than the past two seasons, it’s a welcome change for the show.

Our Take On Big Brother 27 Being Shorter

Big Brother 27 Is Already Thrilling

I’m so happy to hear thatBig Brother 27will only be 83 days long. It’s still a long time for viewers to invest in, butit’ll be less likely that they’ll experience the fatigue at the end of the seasonthat inevitably comes from watching a show that’s so time-consuming.

Hopefully, the short time frame will also light a fire under the housegueststhat will push them to make big moves sooner rather than later in the game.

I’m aBig Brothersuperfan, butI don’t like watching fillersuch as Zombie Week inBig Brother 25when the game was essentially on pause for a week while Cameron Hardin and Jared Fields battled each other to make it back into the house. It felt like the producers had run out of ideas for the 100-day season and, therefore, it was very boring to watch, both during the episodes and the live feeds.

With its Hotel Mystère theme and the return of one of my all-time favorite houseguests, the legendary Rachel,BigBrother 27has already captivated me. I can’t wait to see what surprises and twists the show has in store for both the houseguests and the fans. I’m very much looking forward to finding outwho’ll win the $750,000Big Brother 27grand prize and 83 days of expecting the unexpected.
