Buffy the Vampire Slayeractress Charisma Carpenter has announced that she will be launching a new podcast in which she watchesBuffyandAngel. Carpenter portrayedBuffyfan-favorite character Cordelia Chasethroughout the show’s first three seasons before continuing the role onAngel, appearing in all five seasons of the spinoff series. FollowingAngel’s conclusion in 2004, Carpenter has been a regular at fan conventions, frequently appearing with otherBuffyandAngeltalent. In 2023, the actress lent her vocal talents as Cordelia for the audiobook,Slayers: A Buffyverse Story.
On June 24,Carpenterposted a TikTok video sharing that she’ll be releasing aBuffyandAngelwatch podcast on her Patreon page calledThe B*tch is Backin which she will watch all episodes of both series. In character as Cordelia,Carpenter informed her fans that in addition to watching the shows “for the first time,” she will be bringing on “special guests with stories you will not want to miss.“The video revealed one of these guests to be Julie Benz, who played vampire Darla onBuffyandAngel.
