On Reddit, theCall of Duty Mobileteam released their February 5th community update. While the update provided a long list of upcoming content and featured community contributions, the developers also use it as a chance to answer community questions. In the comments, Reddit user RD-JOEL asks about the Dark Camo, and to their surprise,Call of Duty Mobilereplied.

While they acknowledge that they too love the Dark Matter camo, they point out that withCall of Duty Mobilehaving Diamondand Damascus skins, there are already reward-based progression skins. Due to this, they have implemented the Dark Matter skin in a different way and are not currently sure how they plan to use it in the future. For the moment,Call of Duty Mobilehas no plans to add the skin as a weapon unlock any time soon.

With no future plans to add Dark Matter toCall of Duty Mobile, fans can only find the skin on two previously added weapons. The ICR-1 and Razorback are able to wear the Dark Matter camo, which is a limited selectionbased onCall of Duty: Black Opstitlesthat allow its use on all weapons.
