Activision works hard to implement patches to glitches and bugs withinCall of Duty: Modern Warfareevery week. As new content gets added, new problems seem to appear creating a never-ending cycle of development for the team.
This particular bug appeared after the addition of Hardhat toCall of Duty: Modern Warfare. The map was highly anticipated by players as one of the most wanted remakes from the original game. As players explored the environment finding their personal paths, corners, and favorite ambush spots some fans noticed something odd happening at one particular corner.

No longer do players have to worry about theinvisible enemy glitchfromModern Warfare’slaunch, now its walls that are the danger. Silverdevin on Reddit is one of many users to discover this particularly well placed invisible wall. It extends from a corner overlooking a perfect grenade throw zone, and as players throw their explosives it bounces off this wall with unpredictable effects. Silverdevin is shown throwing C4 against the invisible barrier showing just how far it actually extends out. It extends from the wall about a meter and is in the perfect spot to block grenade throws.
Although this is not as impactful asseeing through objects on Rust, it still can have damaging effects on gameplay for matches on this map. Players will have to watch what they throw or may find their favorite grenade simply bouncing back into their faces until this gets fixed.
There has been tons of discussion about this invisible wall since it was brought to the attention of fans. Many fans say that they thought they were going crazy when their grenades simply disappeared. Although this invisible wall could be used to pull off anepic no-look C4 detonationon pursuing enemies, it seems to present a unique problem for players looking for long-range explosive kills.
Fans have mixed feelings about this issue. For many, the bug does not affect their strategy as they will simply go under it. It is far enough above the ground that it would only affect players if they jumped super high or threw a grenade at the right angle. This is not a game-breaking problem likeglitching through the map in Tovorsk, but it is still enough of an inconvenience for fans to notice.
In general, the community is advising players to avoid it until it eventually gets patched. Although there is no official word as to if Infinity Ward is aware of the bug, the developers tend to fix map errors fairly quickly. Fans are expecting it to be resolved within the next few weeks.
