One of the fan-favorite features ofCookie Run Ovenbreakis now available inCookie Run Kingdom. This feature, of course, is the costume feature,just in time for Halloween. Costumes, however, aren’t limited to just October though, with plenty more likely to come in the near future.
In order to get access to the new costumes, players need to ensure their version ofCookie Run Kingdomis updated to the latest version. This can be done by going to the Google Play Store or App Store, depending on which device the game is downloaded on. This update is a pretty big one, so it will take some time to download.

After players have the new update, they need tounlock the costume gacha. This can be easily done by any player with decent progress through the game’s main story mode. Players will get a simple quest to complete, which will allow access to the boutique, run by Mont Blanc Cookie.
Unlocking Costumes
Costumes can be unlocked by pulling them from the brand new costume gacha. There are 47 different costumes in total with five different costume sets that provide buffs when all of the costumes within the set are obtained. Pulling from the costume gacha costs 300Rainbow Cubesper pull, which can be obtained via event rewards, package purchases, and the mileage shop.
Like the normal Cookie and Treasure gachas, there are different probabilities for each of the costumes upon being pulled. Cookies withHalloween costumessuch as Latte Cookie, Strawberry Crepe Cookie, Madeleine Cookie, and Fig Cookie have increased odds of being pulled in the current featured costume gacha.
If players get a duplicate costume, they will get Rainbow Crystals as compensation, depending on the costume’s rarity. These Rainbow Crystals can be traded in at the Rainbow Crystal shop to specifically buy any of the Epic rarity costumes.
Equipping Costumes in Cookie Run Kingdom
After getting any Cookie costume for a Cookie they own, players can equip costumes from the Costume tab in the Cookie menu. There, players can see a list of all the currently released costumes. Ones that aren’t owned are greyed out, while those in color are unlocked by the player.
To equip a costume, players must select a costume they own and simply select the equip button. This will cause the Cookie associated with the costume to wear it in both battle and in the Kingdom overworld. Certain costumes additionally change the aesthetics of their Cookie’s attacks.
