In the comments section of aJeopardy!Instagram post about theFriendscategory, fans complained that the questions were way too easy. One fan copied Chandler’s manner of speaking and said,“Could those questions BE any easier??”

What Easy Friends Category Means For Jeopardy!

The Friends Category Was A Fun Pop Culture Moment

Althoughsome fans thought that theJeopardy!Friendscategory was too easy, it was a fun pop culture category that tested a different type of knowledge.Being a well-rounded person means being more than just book smart, and Rocco proved that by answering four out of the fiveFriendsquestions correctly. He eventually won the game.

Friendshas become part of American culture, as evidenced by the fact that a fan who’d hardly seen any episodes of the show could still answer all of the questions correctly. However, there are also plenty of people who’ve never seen an episode ofFriends, so this category definitely could’ve stumped them.

Our Take On Fans Complaining About Easy Jeopardy! Category

Sometimes A Light-Hearted Category Is Needed

As aFriendssuperfan, I also easily answered all of theJeopardy!questions about the show, but I didn’t complain about it. In fact, I saw it as an entertaining break from some of the more challenging questions that the show asks the contestants. I also believe thata well-rounded person should know about pop culture in addition to the more highbrow topics that appear onJeopardy!

In addition, I’ve seenJeopardy!fans complain that categories were too hardand might’ve been better suited for the more elite tournaments such asJeopardy! Masters.Sometimes, a category like theFriendsone can be a welcome breakfrom the more difficult questions that are asked in the games. I agree, though, that perhaps the questions about the show could’ve been more challenging.

While I agree that theJeopardy!Friendscategory was easy for fans of the show, I enjoyed it. It was a light-hearted moment that highlighted some of the funniest and most classic moments from the series.Jeopardy!should continue to feature pop culture categories like theFriendsonebecause they make the show even more fun.
