It’s the weekend, which means thatDestinyplayers are eagerly searching forXur, the Agent of the Nineand exotic vendor in Bungie’s first person shooter MMO hybrid. This week, players will find Xur tucked into the Vanguard hall, to the right side of the game’s class Vanguards.
For those that might not know the way: head straight after spawning in, following the path around and pastEris Morn, keep going past the Crucible vendor and Vanguard, and then Xur should be in the back room on the right. But truly, mostDestinyplayers know this area well, especially if they are still grinding for theIce Breaker sniper rifle.
For exotic armor, this weekend Xur has a selection of items that include the Twilight Garrison chest piece for Titans, the Celestial Nighthawk helmet for Hunters, and the Claws of Ahamkara gauntlets for Warlocks. Both the Titan and Hunter exotic armor pieces are solid - the Twilight Garrison for PvP and the Nighthawk helmet for PvE - so we recommend picking up either or both, depending on if the player has more than oneDestinycharacter.Twilight Garrisonis really fun to use because it adds more mobility to the Titan class, which is already extremely fast and agile.
Xur’s exotic weapon this weekend is the Hawkmoon, which is a bit surprising considering he just sold the hand cannon two weeks ago. Still, now that players know hand cannons are back in style thanks to thelatest PvP update, it might be worth re-evaluating Hawkmoon in the Crucible. Based on our tests, it doesn’t seem like the hand cannon can compete against some of the Legendary archetypes, like Eyasluna or Palindrome, but the gun’s ability to give players multiple, extra damage bullets per magazine is pretty useful.
