Disney Dreamlight Valley’s developers have taken the game’s broad customization capabilities up a notch and introduced a new feature that allows players to change the appearance of theRoyal Toolsthey use frequently, such as the Shovel and Fishing Pole. By purchasing exclusive Dream Styles, players can apply unique skins to each of their tools.
What Are Dream Styles in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
InDisney Dreamlight Valley, players have the opportunity to transform the appearance of their home andthe Valley’s residentsthrough the use of Dream Styles. Players now also have the option to apply special Dream Styles to their trusty Royal Tools, giving them a fresh and unique appearance that enriches the experience of completing day-to-day tasks in the Valley. Each Dream Style provides a new visual look for each specific tool, including the Watering Can, Shovel, Pickaxe, Fishing Rod, and Camera.
There are currently no Dream Styles for theRoyal Hourglass, the new tool added inDisney Dreamlight Valley’s A Rift in Timepaid DLC expansion.
To obtain these Dream Styles, players mustpurchase the complete bundle from the in-game Premium Item Shopusing Moonstones, the game’s paid currency. It’s important to note that the Royal Tool Dream Styles can be acquired only as a bundle and cannot be purchased individually. The game’s developers have not yet stated whether they will make individual tool Dream Styles available for purchase separately in subsequent shop updates or if they will always be bundled.
The Royal Tool Dream Styles in thePremium Item Shophave limited availability. The shop updates its inventory every seven days, replacing the current items with new ones. If players fail to purchase a Dream Style during its availability period, they will need to wait for the next opportunity to buy it with a future shop update. However, there is no way to predict or ensure when a Dream Style, or any other item, will return to the Premium Item Shop.

To apply a Dream Style to one or more Royal Tools, follow these steps:
All Dream Styles are cosmetic only and do not change any attributes or functionality of the tool when applied. Players can still use potions that affect tools, such asMiracle Shovel Varnish, with no change to their benefits.
