Currently one of the biggest cozy games available,Disney Dreamlight Valleyhas become a hugely popular and successful game for developer Gameloft. The blend of Disney characters in a cozy life simulation makes for a relaxed experience that instantly feels familiar, thanks to these well-known characters that you interact with. Whether you’re picking flowers with Belle or fishing with Goofy, these virtual friends are what make the game what it is.

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s status asone of the best cozy gamescertainly isn’t in question, but manyDisney fans may not be aware that this isn’t Gameloft’s only game to feature these friendly faces. Although, then again, perhaps these characters aren’t quite as friendly given the competitive nature of the other game. Kart racing is a vastly different type of experience than gardening, but can still be just as enjoyable with these friends along.

Mickey is near invincible in Disney Speedstorm

Disney Speedstorm Is A Great Kart Racer

Lots Of Disney Characters Make The Racing More Fun

Kart racing gameDisney Speedstormfeatures the same idea asDisney Dreamlight Valleyby throwing characters from across the Disney universe together into one game. This means that itmakes perfect sense for Mickey Mouse to be racing against Princess Jasmine in Andy’s RoomfromToy Story.

The game mechanics are intuitive and easy to pick up and play, and everyone will find characters they recognize here. Also, the maps available to race in are beautiful and exciting to drive in, with a large variety of worlds to see.

The game is free to play, which makes it accessible for lots of people to easily try it out, but there are microtransactions to look out for, and theycan become a bit overwhelmingat times. If you can overlook the monetary nature of the game, the fundamentals of kart racing as Disney characters is a lot of fun and can appeal to all ages. As a multiplayer game, this is certainly one that is worth checking out, especially with it being free.

DDV Fans Should Give Speedstorm A Chance

Perhaps Not As Cozy As DDV, But A Fun Experience

I’m certainly not saying thatDisney Speedstormis the same asDisney Dreamlight Valley. The two games are vastly different experiences, with one being a competitive racing game and the other a relaxing and wholesome cozy game.

Yet, the Disney crossover is where I think many fans could find enjoyment in both titles. Both games can offer hours of fun, andDisney Speedstorm’s seasons offer fresh experiences to switch things up.

Disney Speedstormhas a largecatalog of Disney characters to race as, many of whom would be recognized as villagers inDreamlight Valley. Plus, having the ability to play a quick multiplayer race with friends or family is always a great thing to have in your back pocket. As if that all wasn’t enough to convince you to try it out, there’s also an incredible soundtrack inDisney Speedstormto hype you up for a race.
