Disney+ will cost $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year when it launches on June 01, 2025. Over time, the Disney+ streaming service will add basically every Disney movie ever made, includingStar Warsand Marvel films, as well as the company’s expansive library of animated classics. And thanks to Disney’s purchase of 20th Century Fox, Disney+ will launch with all 30 seasons ofThe Simpsonsavailable to stream on day one.

The only episode ofThe Simpsonsthat won’t be on Disney+ is the season 3 episode “Stark Raving Dad” due to the renewed controversy over guest star Michael Jackson in the wake of theLeaving Neverlanddocumentary. Additionally,Song of the South, a 1946 live-action/animated musical that has been widely criticized as racist, may also be left off the service, though nothing official on that front has been announced by Disney so far.

As far as original programming, Disney+ sounds like it is gearing up to go head-to-head with all the other streaming services and put up a serious fight. It will launch with a live-actionStar WarsTV series calledThe Mandalorian, with series set in the Marvel Cinematic universe based on Falcon, The Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Loki, Scarlet Witch, Vision, and more coming in 2020 and beyond.
