New images have been released forFalloutseason 2. The series premiered in April 2024 and became an instant hit for Prime Video.Falloutseason 2 will see the scope of the world expand as the world New Vegas is explored, though while the TV series takes place in the same universe as the video games it is based on, it doesn’t directly adapt any title.
As such, this has led to many theories aboutFalloutseason 2’s New Vegas arrival, which was set up in the season 1 ending when Hank fled to the city. Thus far, the only new information revealed has been Macaulay Culkin’s casting as a mad scientist-type character Lucy will encounter in the season.

Now,Prime Videohas released seven new images fromFalloutseason 2. The images showcase a range of major developments for the new season, including Maximus' ongoing work with the Brotherhood of Steel, Hank being outfitted with a new suit and Pip-Boy, and Walton Goggins' Cooper in a pre-war New Vegas. Check out the images below:
What The Images Mean For Fallout Season 2
Arguably, the biggest reveal to come from the newFalloutseason 2 images are the looks atNew Vegas' standingbefore the Great War. In the 2010 game, it was made clear that RobCo CEO Robert House fortified the city accordingly and left it nearly unscathed by the nuclear destruction, though unstable systems left him in a coma for decades.
Though the show utilizes flashbacks to show Cooper’s life before becoming The Ghoul, akin toWestworld’s Man In Black, it is interesting to see him visiting Pre-War Vegas. Season 1 seemingly rounded up Cooper’s storyline with the reveal that his wife also had a hand in The Great War, and that he lost Janey somehow during the day the bombs dropped on Los Angeles.

The Ghoul and Ella Purnell’s Lucy venturing to the city is sure to bethe reason behind seeing Cooperin Pre-War Vegas, but is also likely to help flesh out New Vegas' world building inFalloutseason 2. It could also help establish even closer ties to the games and the introduction of other familiar characters.
The other major reveal to come fromFalloutseason 2’s images is the confirmation that Norm is no longer in cryogenic sleep after being trapped in Vault 31 by its Overseer, Brain-on-a-Roomba. With the people he’s meeting with also donning Vault 31 jumpsuits, it appears the Vault-Tec junior executives may now be awaking after Norm’s incidental joining of them.

Our Take On The New Fallout Season 2 Images
While I was already excited to see its proper debut, I’m now all the more intrigued byFalloutseason 2 offering us a tour of Pre-War New Vegas. Between Cooper’s increasing doubts about his wife’s morals when going to the city, and the setting also offering a wealth of intriguing backstory to tap into, the images already have me fascinated with season 2.
