According to the game’s menu, Vault Ratings are awarded every day that the player plays the game.A vault’s rating is based on the happiness of all the Dwellers in the Vault combined. Players will receive a reward each day based on that happiness, meaning the happier the Dwellers are, the better the reward will be. Higher ranks will obtain more CAPS when they obtain their reward for the day. At the end of the week, players will obtain a Lunchbox for their hard work atkeeping their Vault up and running.

How to Increase Vault Rating

Increasing a Vault’s rating comes down to increasing the Vault Dwellers' happiness within the Vault.In order to tell if a Vault Dweller is happy, all the player needs to do is select them and check the facial expression and percentage that can be found in the top right-hand corner of the Dweller’s screen. A green face means they’re happy, a yellow face means they are neutral, and a red face means they are sad. Thankfully, increasing the happiness of these Dwellers isn’t too difficult to do as long as players are willing to listen to them.
