Wordleis a short daily word game that pits players against a mystery word. In order to play, new players will need a breakdown of the rules, a little strategy, and they may also need a little help with the answer as well.
How To Play Wordle
Wordlewent viral back in early 2022; it was popular and easy to clone, which made it a great target for copycats. To make sure players are in the right place, they will need to either head to the New York Times GamesWordlesite or theNew York Times Crossword andWordleapp. Other versions will have different answers than what is listed here, and many clones have slightly different rules as well.

To get started playing, word puzzle fans have to choose a greatstartingWordleword. Great starters:
Once a great word is chosen, type it into the top row of theWordlegrid. This will cause its letters to begin changing colors.
With these color-coded clues in mind, choose a new word and type that into theWordlesite. Its letters will also change colors. Keep trying new words and getting new clues until the answer is guessed or players run out of their six total tries.
