It has been nearly three years since the character first debuted inthe MCU timelineas part ofBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever, but this summer, Marvel Studios is finally getting ready to put the spotlight on Thorne’s heroine again, as theIronheartTV show is arriving on Disney+. The series will explore Riri’s life after the events ofBlack Panther: Wakanda Foreverwhile properly expanding her role in the MCU.

Ironheart, which also stars Anthony Ramos, Alden Ehrenreich, and Lyric Ross, is set to premiere with the first three episodes on Tuesday, June 24, on Disney+. The MCU TV show comes from head writer Chinaka Hodge, who also executive produced the series alongsideBlack PantherandBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever’sRyan Coogler.
What The Ironheart Trailer Reveals
One of the key details that stands out in the trailer is the importance of Anthony Ramos’Marvel villain, The Hood,as the footage sets up how Parker Robbins and Riri end up on a path together throughout theIronheartstory.Ironheartlooks set to focus on the conflicts between technology and magic, with The Hood representing the latter while Riri honors the former, as the footage hints at the pair becoming rivals.
