Falling in line with the alternating hidden banner/hidden battle star pattern established back in season 6 ofFortnite, players can now get another cosmetic banner for their locker in season 8 week 4. This will require players to complete all season 8 week 4 challenges, however, which includes landing in various locations, usingthe new baller vehicle, and outlasting a certain amount of opponents.
Per usual, a hint at the location of thisFortnitehidden banner has also been revealed in the season 8 week 4 loading screen. This loading screen showcases a group of Peely skins in what appears to be some type of ritual near the volcano, and as seen above, the banner can be peaked out on the small obelisk, which many may recognize from the volcanic area of the season 8 map.
Notably, this is not the first hidden banner of the season to be found around the new volcano. The season 8 week 2 hidden banner can actually be found within the volcano, near the Fire King’s throne andthe dragon eggs.But for this hidden banner,Fortniteplayers will want to land on the backside of the volcano.
Finding this exact obelisk can be somewhat tricky, but it will be near the top on the backside of the volcano. To reach it from drop, players will want to head in the direction of Sunny Steps, another new location that appeared with the launch ofFortniteseason 8. It will not be the first obelisk near the throat of the volcano, but slightly below that.
A solid method if players are struggling to reach it from drop is to land on top of the volcanic throat and work their way down, as there is a path that contains these obelisks.
