Playing through classic releases likeRed Dead RedemptionandBatman: Arkham Asylumis a great way for gamers waiting for a sale to bide their time, and it seems like there are more gamers striking gold at yard sales.

In a Reddit post, user iPanama360 shares the impressive gaming collection they bought at a yard sale for $60. iPanama360 managed to grab a classic PlayStation 1 with an LCD screen attachment, and aTomb Raiderthemed memory card that features Lara Croft. Aside from picking up one of thebest consoles from the fifth generation, this gamer managed to find hits from theHaloseries, the picture shows offHalo: Combat Evolved, and goes up the release order untilHalo 4.They also managed to grab the first, second, and fourthGrand Theft Autogames,Tekken 4, Rocket Power: Team Rocket Rescue, andan Xbox One copy ofCyberpunk 2077.
IPanama360 recognizes their own luck in the post, but some commenters also point out that a copy of Cyberpunk 2077or a PlayStation 1 could easily both be worth at least the full price of that haul alone. Following its troubled launch, copies ofCyberpunk 2077were refunded and heavily discounted, but updates improving the game’s quality have caused sellers to restore its initial pricing. Some gamers who are interested in the title may be excited to hear that thePC releases ofCyberpunk 2077are at a historically low price.
Gamer Finds an Impressive Deal on Classics
Cyberpunk 2077appears to be the odd one out in this list though, as it’s the latest release of the bunch. Every other game in the post is some level of retro now, starting in 2012 withHalo 4and all the way back to the 90s. Although most of the otherHalogames pictured here are universally loved,Halo4has proven to still be controversialover a decade later. Regardless, the Halogames in the picture remain series classics, and being able to find the physical copies of games present inThe Master Chief Collectionalong with retro icons like a PS1, complete with controllers and a memory card, would make any old school gamer happy.
