It’s been quite a while since fans have been given any concrete information about Sucker Punch’s forthcoming PlayStation 4 exclusiveGhost of Tsushimaever sinceits initial trailerdebuted during Paris Games Week 2017, but the title will likely be shown off in a major way at E3 2018. As a matter of fact, the game’s animation director, Billy Harper, recently teased the project’s demo at this year’s big industry event by sharing an image of a katana in use within a motion capture studio.
As seen in the tweet below from Harper’s official Twitter account,Ghost of Tsushimafans will find the aforementioned sword sticking out of what appears to be a plastic box of some kind for use during a motion capture session. The Sucker Punch animation director tagged “E3 2018” next to the forthcoming release’s title alongside the phrase “Soooooon”, indicating that the object will be on display in some capacity during the game’s showcase at next month’s event.
As of now, not much is known aboutGhost of Tsushimaother than the fact that its story is set in 1274, with the small Japanese island of Tsushima having fallen under the rule of Kublai Khan and his Mongol Empire.
