WhileGrand Theft Auto 6is at the top of just about every gamer’s watch list, it’s still going to be quite a bit before players actually get their hands on the game.GTA 6was recently pushed back to at least May 2026, and while developers are adamant that the game is coming out next year and won’t be delayed again, fans have heard that story before.
However, according to a CNBC interview (viaX) with Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick,Rockstar is working on “a lot of other things” outside ofGTA 6.This acts as suggests that fans can look forward to seeing more projects from Rockstar other than the highly anticipated next installment in theGrand Theft Autoseries.

Rockstar Games Is Working On More Than GTA 6
GTA 6 Is Front & Center, But Not The Only Game To Be Excited About
According to theTake Two CEO, Rockstar is apparently hard at work on more than just the single project withGTA 6,which shouldn’t come as a big surpriseconsidering the massive list of excellent IPs they have under their belt.
GTA 6is clearly the highest priority for Take Two and Rockstar, but it’s great news that the studio is developing further projects and not focusing all their resources in one place.

WhileGTA 6promises to be one of the biggest games of all time, Rockstar has plenty of talent to put to use on creating new IPs or developing new projects based on their existing IPs. It isn’t clear exactly what the nature of these additional games is just yet, andfans will be eager to find outif they can expect another big Rockstar release beforeGTA 6.
What Games Could Rockstar Be Working On Now?
If Rockstar is working on a sequel to one of their major existing IPs, clearly players are going to want to see aRed Dead Redemption 3announcement in the coming months, though there is nothing confirmed as of this writing.RDR3would arguably be just as popular asGTA 6,and to see both of these release at the same time would be incredible.
However, it’s entirely possible Rockstar is working on a completely new IP, which could be just as exciting given theirsuccess with original IPs in the past.It would be very exciting to see an announcement regarding other projects in the works sometime soon from Rockstar or Take Two, and might set some GTA 6 fans' minds at ease for the time being.
Overall, it’s hard to say exactly what games Rockstar has in the works, but knowing that we can expect new and exciting projects outsideGTA 6is great news. It would be really nice to get an update about these new games from Rockstar and Take Two instead of another announcement aboutGTA 6being pushed back again.
