AHearthstoneartist may have accidentally leaked the upcoming Mini-Set forMarch of the Lich King. A few pieces of unused art in his recently-posted gallery may have givenHearthstoneplayers a sneak peek at the upcoming Mini-Set.Konstantin Turovec is a famousHearthstoneartist who has worked on manyWarcraftprojects over the past decade. In addition to providing artwork for nearly two dozenHearthstonecard sets, Turovec also did illustrations forWorld of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 3.RELATED:Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 3 Adds New Minion Types, Hero, and RewardsCustomarily, Turovec posts his gallery of work for eachHearthstoneexpansion a short time after the card sets go live. His most recentHearthstonepost showed off his incredible art for theMarch of the Lich KingSignature LegendaryAlexandros Mograine, Felerin the Forgotten, and many other gorgeous cards. However, some of the art has yet to appear in anyHearthstonecards. With titles like Plague Eruption, Felscale Evoker, Ransack, and Ichor of Undeath, players think a Naxxramas Mini-Set may be coming soon, especially given the stone-and-pipe backgrounds reminiscent of the iconic necropolis.

This isn’t the first time Turovec’s Artstation gallery hasrevealed aHearthstoneMini-Set ahead of schedule. Shortly beforeMurder at Castle Nathria’s“Maw and Disorder” Mini-Set launched, some of his art allowed players to correctly guess the courtroom-themed cards were coming. Considering Turovec’s habit of doing so has yet to be corrected, many fans wonder ifHearthstonelikes him posting these teasers to generate hype.

Either way, players won’t have to wait long to find out what the next Mini-Set will be.Hearthstonerecently announced the Heroic BrawliseumforMarch of the Lich King, which has historically taken place a week before the new Mini-Set is formally announced. IfHearthstonefollows precedent, players could get an announcement some time next week, with the Mini-Set possibly dropping as early as January 31.

Players are excited at the prospect of another Naxxramas-themedHearthstoneset. The first new cards added toHearthstonewere in theCurse of Naxxramasadventure in 2014. TheiconicWorld of Warcraftraidis beloved by many players, who would love to see a more modern take on the expansion for a new era ofHearthstone–perhaps with fun achievements like Heigan the Unclean’s “Safety Dance.” Many players also laughed at the prospect of seeing a fourth card version of Kel’Thuzad, who also appeared inScholomance AcademyandMurder at Castle Nathria. Regardless of the Mini-Set’s theme,Hearthstoneplayers can purchase a full playset of the new cards for $20 or for 2000 Gold once it is available.
