Stardew Valleyplayers often get creative with the way they structure their farms, but one fan’s farm layout takes its design to a whole new level. Crops and farming are the underlying gameplay mechanic of the immensely popular cozy indie title by solo developer ConcernedApe. In the charming pixel title, players can structure their farms however they want, with many using this freedom to design sweeping landscape, streamlined farms, and everything in between.
OneStardew Valleyplayer who goes bymatthewbeynonon Reddit shared their completed farm layout with the community, and it shows a stunning level of dedication. TheirGinger Island farmhas neat squares for every crop with a sprinkler at the center of each square, and isorganized entirely in alphabetical order.

Alphabetized Stardew Valley Took Some Time To Perfect
Accidental Pickups And Randomized Wild Seeds Complicated The Task
The impressive farm layout houses thefully grown version of every single seed crop in order of their names. The creator behind this masterpiece has clarified that this doesn’t include trees, tea bushes, or Qi fruit. They also state that the crops are listed in order of their name without the descriptor, so “common mushroom” is simply “mushroom” and “blue jazz” is referred to only as “jazz.”
The Redditor admits to making one small mistake in their organization: “summer spangle” is alphabetized as “spangle” while “summer squash” is considered under its full name, with the descriptor intact.

The entire planting process took a lot of time and dedication, due in part to accidental crop harvests. These occur from a misclick and would have meant having towait for the crop to bloomor, in some cases, replant it entirely. Wild seeds also added an element of randomization to the task, requiring the player to keep replanting the wild seeds until the right crops grew in the right spots. The entire process, according to the farm’s designer, took “a good amount of work and a Google sheet.”
The Stardew Valley Farm Layout Is Incredibly Impressive
Fans Praise The Farm, And Suggest A Followup Project
It’s always fun to see how the incredibly creativeStardew Valleycommunity finds new ways to enjoy thenearly decade-old game. The level of dedication required for this particular farm layout is “insanely impressive,“says RedditJamesFromRedLedger. Redditornoxiousfumes269calls the organization “top-tier,” adding: “A+ no notes.”
RedditorJaneTheSnowmaneven has a suggestion for the original poster’s next project: “Nice job, next time I wish to see them in rainbow order.” Unsurprisingly, Redditor matthewbeynon has responded that already have a rainbow of crops in their greenhouse, posting a followupRedditthread to show it off, as well. Both the Ginger Island farm and the greenhouse farm are simply delightful to behold, and may serve as inspiration for otherStardew Valleyplayers who just can’t figure out how to organize their farm’s crops.
