Sony usedIron Man VRto kick off its first-ever State of Play presentation, so the company clearly has high expectations for the game. Fans can get an idea of whether or not it lives up to the hype by trying the newIron Man VRdemo, which Sony has released to the masses today.
PlayStation VR users can download theIron Man VRdemo from the PlayStation Store. It should be noted thatIron Man VR’s original release datewas this month, but it has since been pushed back to July 3. Perhaps the release of theIron Man VRdemo is Sony’s way of tiding players over until they can get their hands on the full game. Anyone that does plan on getting the full game should definitely consider checking out the demo still, as anyone that downloads theIron Man VRdemo will get the Molten Lava Armor Deco for free.

Based on theIron Man VRdemotrailer, it seems as though the demo will let players go through the airplane sequence that was shown in the game’s reveal trailer. Considering this, no one should expect it to be a deep dive intoIron Man VR’s story or anything like that, but it should give fans an idea of how the full game will play come July.
Iron Man VR’s story will featurethe villain Ghost, who was seen in the MCU movieAnt-Man and the Wasp. Ghost inIron Man VRshould differ quite a bit from the character’s portrayal in the MCU, but fans will have to wait for the full game to learn more. In the meantime, appearances from various otherIron Mancharacters should also be included inIron Man VR, though it’s unclear exactly who else will be in the game.
In the meantime, anyone that comes away from theIron Man VRdemo impressed by what they played may want to pre-order it for additional bonuses. Anyone thatpre-ordersIron Man VRwill get their hands on four additional armor decos, including one based on Iron Man’s classic red and yellow look.
