Following Josh Hartnett’s horror appearances inTrapandBlack Mirrorin the past two years, the actor is now set to lead a new Netflix limited series that centers on a sea creature terrorizing a small town in Newfoundland, Canada. Hartnett’s character will be a fisherman, hardened by years of experience, who is determined to save his family.

Netflix has not released much information about the project so far, asproduction only started a few weeks ago, but the streamer has shared cast and crew details. Alongside Hartnett, the currently untitled project will star Mackenzie Davis (Station Eleven), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), Ruby Stokes (Lockwood & Co.), and more (viaNetflix).

Even with the very limited series description and cast information that has been released so far,the creature-centered horror series already sounds like a great role for Hartnett.
