TheKPop Demon Hunterscastis led by Arden Cho, May Hong, and Ji-young Yoo as the K-pop girl group Huntr/x, who moonlight as demon hunters and are working to solidify the Honmoon barrier to protect their world. PerVariety,Ji-young Yoo, who voices Huntr/x’s lyricist and rapper Zoey, will be starring in Paramount’s currently untitled movie about K-pop,alongside singer-songwriter Eric Nam. It is scheduled to release in theaters on May 24, 2025, and will be the first major American studio movie to be shot entirely in South Korea. The premise is as follows:
The story revolves around a young Korean American woman who defies her family’s wishes by competing in a televised competition to find the next K-pop girl group.
