What This Means For Meloni & Organized Crime Season 6
The Actor Is No Stranger To The NFL
The project hails from Dan Fogelman, creator ofThis Is Usand the Sterling K. Brown thriller seriesParadise. Although exact details remain under wraps, it’s known that the Hulu project is set in the NFL world and has a generational family focus. Meloni will play the head coach.
It’s a familiar subject for the actor.Meloni was the quarterback of his high school teamat St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School in Virginia. And back in 2007, he was inducted along with his team into that school’s Hall of Fame for being undefeated in 1978. He also provides voiceovers for NFL ads on Peacock.

It’s still possible thatOrganized Crime will getrenewed. But if not, theOrganized Crimeseason 5 finaleprovides a nice enough ending for Stabler. He mourns his younger brother, who gets caught up in a dangerous case and is murdered. His family comes together, united, and it’s a solid conclusion for some of the familial tension that ran through the spinoff.
Our Take On What’s Next For Stabler
There’s Always SVU
Even if viewers don’t get the chance to seethe cast ofLaw & Order: Organized Crimeagain, there will at least be the chance to have Meloni pop up as Stabler onSVUa few times.
Perhaps, he may even become a recurring cast member, considering her friendship with Mariska Hargitay. But at least this time, he may get a proper farewell and a better sense of resolution with Olivia Benson, especially sinceLaw & Order: Organized Crimeseason 5 barely tackled their current standing.
