There’s a lot to be done inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Although the game and its immediate predecessor have been praised for theirepic, historically accurate main stories, whereKCD 2really shines is off the beaten path. With a wealth of side quests, random events, and crafting recipes to delve into, it’s no wonder beating the whole game could take you over 100 hours.
But there are some feats few players ever achieve. Based on Steam data alone, fewer than 1% of the PC player base forKingdom Come: Deliverance 2have yet to earn these nine exceptionally difficult achievements- here’s why.

9Lent Requires You To Roleplay As A Vegetarian
0.8% Of Players
Food and drink are important aspects ofKingdom Come’s gameplay -Henry has a consistent Nourishment statthat decreases over time. If it falls below a certain threshold, his maximum HP and stamina will be decreased until he satiates his hunger again. You can eat full meals at inns, but you’re basically expected tocarry some measure of provisionswith you whenever you’re making a long journey.
Some food may also restore your HP.
Only 0.8% of players have the Lent achievement, then, becauseit requires you to be exceptionally picky with what you eat. You can’t eat a single bite of meat throughout the game, and have to stick to fruit and vegetables. You’ll also have to avoid killing any animals, which is arguably harder - you try fighting off a pack of wolves with your bare fists.
8Hardcore Henry II Requires Beating The Hardest Mode
0.6% Of Players
Speaking of self-imposed limitations, the Hardcore Henry II achievement requires you to beat the entire main campaign ofKingdom Come: Deliverance 2on Hardcore Mode, the game’s mega-difficult, masochists-only mode. Hardcore doesn’t affect enemy or player stats, like you might think: instead,it removes certain quality-of-life features. There’s no fast travel and no autosave, you can’t see your location on the map, and enemies are more aggressive.
In addition, when you begin a new game on Hardcore mode, you’re required to select at least three negative perks. These range from reduced carrying capacity to slower XP gain to a pungent smell that makes you worse at stealth. No wonder only 0.6% of players have gone to the trouble of getting this one.

7Bohemian Graffiti Requires A Massive Shield Collection
0.5% Of Players
In no small part, the Bohemian Graffiti achievement probably only has 0.5% of the player base because it’s locked behindone ofKCD 2’s paid DLCs,Brushes with Death. This DLC adds a great deal of customization, mainly in the form of painted shields. to earn this achievement, you’ll first have to collect one of every shield in the game, then paint each and every last one of them.
Collecting all the shields is the real Herculean task here- you really have to search far and wide, and may even have to spend a bit of cash on procuring certain shields. Thankfully, painting them is free, so that part of the achievement is easy enough, albeit pretty time-consuming.

6Vengeance Solves Nothing Demands A Difficult Decision
Also part ofBrushes with Death, Vengeance Solves Nothing requires you to make a difficult decision during the quest “Portrait in Red.” As part of this quest, you’ll be asked by Voyta to kill Burkhard. You’ll travel to find him at a camp in the woods, where you certainly can kill him outright or challenge him to a duel - butin order to get Vengeance Solves Nothing, you’ll need to keep him alive.
Part of the reason this achievement is so rare is doubtless that its wording is a little unclear: even using nonlethal damage on Burkhard won’t be enough. Instead, you’ll need to sneak into his camp at night and steal his helmet from within a chest, a solution that was obvious to no one.

5Flagellum Dei Is Only For The Archery Masters
Once again, Flagellum Dei is part ofBrushes with Death- its exclusivity to players who own that DLC already makes it unusually rare. To complicate matters, this achievement requires you to score 150 points during the mounted archery competitionin Trosky, at the Nomads' Camp. First, you must complete three introductory competitions; after that, you’re able to choose from three optional competitions of varying difficulty levels.
Thankfully, the points you earn are cumulative- all you have to do is score 150 pointstotalacross all the competitions you participate in, instead of attempting to score 150 in a single run. It doesn’t matter if you succeed or fail at the competition itself, either, as long as you get the points you need.

4Against All Odds Is Hardcore Mode, But Worse
Remember how I said Hardcore Mode was an incredibly frustrating, nigh-impossible way to playKingdom Come: Deliverance 2? Well, in order to get the Against All Odds achievement, you’ll need to beat this punishing game mode with all ten negative starting perks enabled. Your experience gain will be slashed by 20%, stealth will be massively nerfed, your carrying capacity will be enormously diminished, there’s a chance you’ll hurt your back whenever you pick something up, and, to make matters worse, you’ll stink.
PlayingKCD 2on Hardcore Mode is tough enough, but with these ten perks active, you’ll be even more limited as to what you can do.This achievement is reserved only for the most committed playersofKCD 2- I wouldn’t recommend trying for it on your first playthrough.

3All Fun And Games Has Very Particular Conditions
In order to complete the All Fun and Games achievement, you’ll first need to purchase theBrushes with DeathDLC, which quite a few achievements appear to be gated behind. In any case, your goal here is part of the mission “Unveiled” - as you’re recovering the Mary statue from a group of bandits, makesure you save the NPC Chrudosh, then return to Kuttenberg and speak with Stihlau. He’s a little hard to find, which may explain why this achievement is so rare.
However, this achievement’s rarity may also be related to a common bug where, if players rescue Chrudosh after killing the bandits,he’ll respond as if they did a murder, and run to tattle to the guards. This likely results in many players leaving Chrudosh to his own devices.

2Curiosity Killed The Cat Requires Some Lateral Thinking (& Some Luck)
0.4% Of Players
During the quest “Man Proposes” inKCD 2’sBrushes with DeathDLC, you’ll receive a broken sword. Your goal here isn’t to fix it or to use it, but to use it as part of your investigation into a local madman. But to get the Curiosity Killed the Cat achievement, you’ll have to ignore all that briefly and go get the sword repaired by a local blacksmith- and that’s only the beginning.
After that, you’ll want to return it to the man who gave it to you -you’ll have to pass a hard speech check to get him to keep it. You’ll then have to return after a few days to find the man dead. Although it’s likely that this achievement’s inclusion in the DLC and its unusual concept are likely part of what makes it rare, it may also be related to a bug that doesn’t give players the option to return the sword.

1Bohemians Rise Up Is KCD 2’s Rarest Achievement
Finally, the rarest achievement forKCD 2- at least on Steam - is Bohemians Rise Up. This one is also tied toBrushes with Death, and also has to do with painting shields. This time, though, you won’t need to collect every shield in the game. Instead, you’ll just need toobtain three knight shields and paint them with very specific patterns, creating imitations of the different crests of the kingdom of Bohemia.
Before you unlock these designs, you’ll have to complete certain DLC quests. In addition, some of the difficulty here may be related to a bug that requires you to set the crests to a different, incorrect color before setting them back to the correct one to make the achievement pop. For these reasons, this is the rarest achievement inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
