SinceLove, Death + Robotsis a mainly animated anthology show, many viewers may not recognize the notable actors in each episode on their voice alone. While “Golgotha” does feature a rare live-action episode, and star Rhys Darby is easy to identify on his appearance, the other stars of the series don’t have their faces featured to make them recognizable. “Can’t Stop” is a first forLove, Death + Robots. Instead of being a short story about some science fiction or fantasy topic, “Can’t Stop” is an animated music video. Specifically,it visualizes the Red Hot Chili Peppers' 2003 performance of their song,Can’t Stop, at Slane Castle, Ireland. Directed by David Fincher, “Can’t Stop” presents the Red Hot Chili Peppers as marionette puppets putting on a performance to the adoring crowd. Interestingly, since it was a live performance, none of the band members actually provided lines specifically forLove, Death + Robots.
Anthony Kiedis as Himself: Anthony Kiedis is the lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and he provides the vocals for the majority of “Can’t Stop.”
Flea as Himself: Flea (Michael Peter Balzary) is the bass player for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and he also provides backup vocals.
John Frusciante as Himself: John Frusciante is the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Chad Smith, the band’s drummer, also appeared in “Can’t Stop,” though he didn’t sing during the song.

“Close Encounters of the Mini Kind” is unique amongLove, Death + Robotsvolume 4’s episodes, as it doesn’t actually have a vocal cast listed in the credits.“Close Encounters of the Mini Kind” frames its alien invasion as being on a very small scale, and as such, all the humans' voices are distant and hard to hear. It’s possible that the animation studio, Buck, had some of their employees supply the hard-to-hear voices. This style of animation was used previously inLove, Death + Robots, in “Night of the Mini-Dead.”
