Chris Seeley & Huda Mustafa’s Journey Has Been A Whirlwind
They Met During Casa Amor Week
AlthoughHuda spent the initial weeks ofLove Island USAseason 7 with Jeremiah Brown, who she connected with quickly during the first night of the season, things changed for herwhen she went to Casa Amor. After crashing out hard over Jeremiah, Huda collected herself and was saved from elimination twice, moving into the new villa for the mid-season twist.
Throughout Casa Amor,Huda found herself getting to know new guys and met Chris during her time there, despite him being coupled up with Chelley. By the time the Islanders were regrouping in the villa, bringing the Casa boys back with them,Chris and Huda seemed to be connecting. While he and Chelley were still exploring, Huda was piquing his interest.

Coupling up when they returned to the villa, Chris quickly realized he was more interested in Huda than Chelley. The pair began talking more seriously about their connection, and it was clear they both wanted to make their relationship work. While it hasn’t been easy, they’ve been openly communicating and working through the issues they havethroughout the season thus far.
While some have railed against Chris' behavior at times, feeling he’s too cold or dislikes Huda, it’s clear that he’s been moving throughLove Island USAwith a sense of maturity. Despite the fact that Huda, at times, struggles with her insecurities in their relationship, the fact thatthey’ve been openly talking about their issuesis often more impressive than other couples.
Huda’s Been A Tough Sell For Love Island USA Viewers
Many Haven’t Liked Her Behavior
Knowing thatHuda’s been struggling since the beginningofLove Island USAseason 7, some haven’t felt that she’s capable of a legitimate relationship or wanted to see her succeed. While it’s clear thatHuda does need to do some work when she gets home from the showto grasp the breadth of her insecurities, she still deserves to find love.
Huda’s behavior has been inexcusable at times, but she’s been trying to ensure others of her kind-hearted intentions and has worked to ensure that her time onLove Island USAis a learning experience, rather than a struggle. Getting into her relationship with Chris,Huda’s been more focused than ever on being direct. Her journey hasn’t been linear, which is refreshing.

They’ve Found Someone To Invest In With Each Other
AlthoughHudaand Chris have faced issues onLove Island USA,their journey has encapsulated what the experience of the show is meant to feel like. Rather than moving through the series with polished ease, Chris and Huda have genuinely found themselves exploring a realistic relationship. Some haven’t enjoyed their dynamic, butit’s more true to life than many care to admit.
While Chris and Huda’s connection may not beat out the others in the finale, they should becrownedLove Island USAseason 7’s winners. After struggling and having to actually work on their connection, bothChris and Huda seem to be interested in putting in effort to make their relationship happen. Hopefully, they’ll make things work outside ofLove Island USA’svilla.
