Any fans ofSonic The Hedgehogthat want to get their hands on these newMagic: The Gatheringcardsbetter be waiting on their computers for that 9 a.m. PST release time on July 14. In the past, we’ve seenSecret Lairssell out fast, especially when they feature mechanically unique cards from a well-loved property. TheMarvel cards from late 2024are a perfect case as to why players shouldn’t expect theseSoniccards to stick around.
Although it is nice that Wizards of the Coast are sending copies of the mechanically unique cards to be sold at WPN stores, there’s no guarantee they will be as affordable. Despite having an MSRP of $37.99, I’ve been to multiple WPN stores sellingFinal FantasyCollector Boostersfor $100 or more. Many stores go off of the secondary market pricing for products like this, instead ofMagic: The Gathering’s recommended pricing, so ordering aSecret Lairon the release date is your best bet to get it appropriately priced.
