The nextWandaVisionseries,Vision, taps a new star for a major role in the upcomingMarvel Cinematic Universespinoff. The Multiverse Sagais launching Phase 6 this summer on the big-screen withThe Fantastic Four: First Steps, and one of the next MCU TV shows is also on its way, as Paul Bettany’s long-time character will finally be getting his ownWandaVisionspinoff. While plot details are still heavily under wraps, theVisionseries will deal with the titular character after the events ofWandaVision.
As the upcomingVisionTV show is in the works,Deadlinehas reported that T’Nia Miller has joined the MCU franchise as Marvel’s Jocasta, who is described as"cunning and powerful,“having originally been built by Ultron to be his bride before turning against him in the comics.Star Trek: Picardand12 Monkeys’Terry Matalas is attached as the showrunner forVision, which is targeting a 2026 launch on Disney+.

What T’Nia Miller’s Jocasta Casting Means For The Vision TV Show
Given howJames Spader’s Ultronis set to return for theVisionTV show,it’s no surprise that a player like Jocasta is being added to the story, as Bettany’s spinoff series is likely looking to tap into the deeper lore of Ultron. If Ultron has somehow recreated himself, it would make perfect sense that Jocasta is someone who gets created along the way, while also adding another challenging opponent for Vision. It is also an opportunity for the MCU to explore a twisted love story for Ultron.
Whether or nottheVisionTV showwill make any changes to Jocasta from her comic book history remains to be seen, given how Marvel Studios had to tinker with Ultron’s creation throughAvengers: Age of Ultron, as he was originally created by Hank Pym in the comics. But seeingVisiontap characters like Jocasta and Ultron will definitely put him on an intriguing path while Bettany’s character also handles his return afterWandaVision. Given how Jocasta ends up turning on Ultron in the Marvel lore, it should be interesting to see if something similar happens for her live-action counterpart.
