Peter Parker’s son, Richard, has recently taken on the title of Venom on Earth-6160. After finally being unleashed in all his monstrous glory, it’s clear that Richard’s Venom could handle his own Ultimate series.
Marvel officially announced thatUltimate Spider-Manwill end with its upcoming issue #24 in December 2025. However, after a glorious showing in the series’ latest issue, readers don’t want Venom’s story to end prematurely.

The culmination ofUltimate Spider-Manis a surprise for fans who have been loving its take on Peter Parker and his family, butsigns have been pointing to the story’s evolution into some kind ofUltimate Venomtitle. Richard has taken ona superhero role since the beginning of 2025, and he might end the year with his own series.
Richard Parker’s Venom transformation has been slowly unraveling, first taking his dad’s sentient picotech suit and webslinging as a black-costumed Spider-Man. However,Miles Morales accidentally asked if he was Venom, unknowingly changing the course of Ultimate Universe history. With the suit’s upgraded attack,it’s no question that Richard’s truly become Earth-6160’s Venom, but his story has really only just begun.
Marco Checchetto’s cover forUltimate Spider-Man #24previewed Venom’s ultimate form before it was unveiled in the context of the series. Asthe final issue officially vows to “create promising roadmaps for future storytelling”, the series’ finale likely doesn’t mean a farewell to the entire Parker family. However, Peter himself may bein danger of going the Uncle Ben route.

Peter’s potential death would kick off a seriously dramatic new era for Richard Parker’s Venom.
With Richard teasing a connection to the Brocks, starting a complicated romance with Black Cat, and Kingpin vowing to hunt him down, there’s still so much story to tell for Earth-6160’s Venom moving forward. Readers may lose their favoriteSpider-Manseries as hisUltimate Universeadventures approach a planned conclusion, but it seems thatVenomcould successfully fill his spot.
