New Cards in the Hellfire Gala Season
The new Season in Marvel Snap introduces three new cards:Sebastian Shaw, Havok, and Selene. Of these, the first one will be obtainable through Season Pass. The other two join the main roster via Spotlight Cache releases.
Sebastian Shaw (Season Pass)
As a passive card,Sebastian Shaw is a 3-Cost 4-Powerwho gains +2 Power when you give him a permanent boost. For instance, if you hit him with Forge—which gives the next card +2 Power—Sebastian Shaw will end up gaining +4 Power (two additional points coming from his passive ability).
Havok (Spotlight Cache)
A 2-Cost 0-Power Series 4 card, Havok is anew candidate for ramp decks. After you play him, you will get one less Energy for the next round, but Havok will earn +4 Power for each round he remains in the game.
Blob (Spotlight Cache)
With a Cost of 6 and Power of 4, Blob is a newpowerhouse in the On Reveal archetype. When he hits the board, he merges with all the other cards in the deck and absorbs their Power. The only catch is that he cannot be moved.
Selene (Spotlight Cache)
Selene is a 1-Cost On Reveal card with -1 Power. When she’s in the game, both players’ lowest-Power cards get afflicted by -3. Based on this synergy, she seems to bea good fit for junk decks—especially now that Annihilus is in the metagame.
