Hammer Controls and Combos

The basic controls for the Hammer are as follows:

Holding down ZR to charge your attack will go through three different charge levels, depicted by a glowing aura around the player. Players will want to hold it for as long as they can before unleashing an attack to do max damage. Players can also press A while charging to increase the damage level of the attack.

Hammer Silkbind Attacks

As for the Hammer’s Silkbind attacks, there are two different abilities that players will have access to by default. These attacks will be able to be switched out once players progress through the campaign ofMonster Hunter Rise. Silkbind attacks can only be used if players haveWirebugs available to them, which are shown on the bottom of the screen. Players will have two of them at the start of every hunt, but they can find a third one out in the field, but it will disappear after a short amount of time.
