Whilst fans of Capcom’s creature-killing action-RPG series are expressing their disdain for theupcomingMonster Huntermovie, the same can’t be said forMonster Hunter World, which is continuing to receive new events and content even almost a year after its January release. The latest change to the game has gone live this week and ties in with another popular title all about hunting and killing giant beasts,Horizon Zero Dawn.

This isn’t the first time the two series have crossed over, as a special event forMonster Hunter Worldwas released earlier this year that allowed players to unlock aunique armor set and weapon. Now, another special event quest has gone up, as advertised on the game’s official Twitter page, where players must hunt down “the biggest (and smallest!) Tempered Deviljho,” implying that there are two monsters to track and kill.

Not only will players be rewarded with an even stronger armor set based on the hit PS4 game, as well as a layered armor, but, as demonstrated in the trailer, equipping the full set will transform the character into Aloy,HZD’sprotagonist. So any players that missed the opportunity to unlock this the first time round now have another chance to get their hands on it.

However, just like the previousHZDevents, this will be exclusive to the PS4, so don’t expect it to make some surprise appearance on Xbox or PC. There’s currently no sign of either of these versions receiving an alternative event to make up for it, which unfortunately means many players may deem them the ‘inferior’ versions of the title. The PC version, in particular, has been heavily criticized in the past, especially due to its rather rocky launch that made the game almost unplayable for some, though it did receivea free updatethat fixed many of the bugs and glitches, as well as some extra content.

Monster Hunter Worldis available right now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
