Still, with his old friend gone and the world in disarray, Shikamaru fell into a pit of despair, adopting ideas that his predecessor would never accept, such as sacrificing his allies.
Naruto’s world has gone through a major shift due to Kawaki’s selfishness and paranoia, one that has left a mark that will never be erased. When the heroes inevitably triumph and restore the status quo, they will once again be forced to work hard to help the other Hidden Villages recover the hope they lost during these trying times.
