Now, Carpenter has followed suit, sharing with fans that she isn’t involved in the project. On TikTok,Carpenterexplained,“I haven’t had a conversation with any of the powers that be to include Cordelia, at this point,“making it clear that she didn’t turn down a return; she hadn’t been asked. The actress decided to address whether she’s in the reboot because it’s a question she gets a lot.

But it was not intended to sound coded in any kind of way alluding to the fact that I was admitting to being in the reboot, which is kind of a take. People were also then commenting like ‘Oh, are you saying?!’ like it was an Easter egg a la Taylor Swift. Not at all.

As Carpenter noted, Hulu is focused on the pilot for theBuffyrevival. She hasn’t been contacted to make an appearance. However, this does not mean that she couldn’t be involved with the series if it gets a full season order.
