Activision Blizzard releasedOverwatchin 2016 and since then, players have won and lost as their favorite heroes in countless matches and discovered several glitches along the way. One glitch that was recently shared by a player shows Bastion flying across the King’s Row map.
Reddit user Angryrat recently shared a clip ofOverwatchgameplay from a match of King’s Row in which they were playing as Ana. During the clip, Ana was healing the heroes pushing the payload through King’s Row with her Biotic Rifle,. While Ana reloaded, she looked to the sky to see a healing Bastion flying backward through the sky.

Angryrat isn’t the firstOverwatchfan to discover this King’s Row glitch as it was recently featured on the NoobHunterYouTubechannel. During the NoobHunter clip from a livestreamer known as Questron, a crafty Sombra uses her translocator beacon to phase through the wall of one of the buildings near the capture point on King’s Row. They then used the same ability to gain height and observe the map from above. With Sombra able to stealth above the competition, Questron was able to track the enemies and let their team know which characters were approaching.
Once Sombra is able to walk on the skybox of King’s Row, she’s apparently able to take on the appearance of any of the heroes onOverwatch’s roster. This glitch will allow players to switch heroes in the skybox to others such as Lucio, Pharah, or in this case Bastion, adding further confusion to the glitch. It’s currently unknown how long this King’s Row glitch has existed, but it may have been part of theActivision Blizzardgame as long as Sombra has been.
Because a Bastion in turret mode can be quite a menace, this glitch could be a deciding factor for some King’s Row matches. Both NoobHunter and Angryrat’s clips showed the characters floating above King’s Row successfully doing damage to the enemy team. The player in NoobHunter’s video was successfully defeated by the enemy team while flying above the map, while the Bastion in Angryrat’s clip was fleeing from being shot byZenyattawho continued flinging orbs to the sky.
Overwatch 2was recently delayed alongsideDiablo 4during an Activision Blizzard quarterly earnings call, giving fans of the original game more time to explore glitches like this Bastion one. BothOverwatch 2andDiablo 4were delayedindefinitely so fans of both franchises will have to wait and see when Activision Blizzard may present them next.Overwatchis still updated regularly so given the unearthing of this Sombra glitch, it may be removed in an upcoming update.
Overwatchis available now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
