Bandai Namco has announced a brand-newPac-Mangame, one that is set to launch in early 2024. Said game is titledPac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs, an online-only multiplayer battle royale that will see up to 64 players face off in classicPac-Mangameplay across multiple mazes. Each player can invade their opponents’ worlds to devour pellets, ghosts, and even other players and grow their custom Pac-Man avatar. Mazes are eliminated from play as a round goes on, and any players unlucky enough to be stuck in one vanishes along with it - adding an element of urgency to the already fast-pacedPac-Manaction.
