Following its incredibly successful first season,Paradisewill officially return for a second outing with filming close to being complete, but the show’s latest update suggests that a big future lies ahead. After plenty of twists and turns,Paradiseseason 1’s endingrevealed President Cal Bradford’s killer while dropping some bombshells that changed the story’s entire trajectory.
Cal’s death was just the start of a much bigger conspiracy involving Sinatra, Jane, and survivors outside the community, whichParadiseseason 2will continue to explore. However, a third installment looks like it could be on the cards, with producer John Hoberg outlining future plans for the project, and the thriller sounds like it will only get better.

In an interview withIndieWire, Hoberg revealed that a story for season 3 is already mapped out, but the series is also keeping plenty of mysteries under wraps that the writers are confident will appease audiences. Check out what Hoberg had to say below.
It gave us confidence, because we know people are invested in the characters,” he said. “A lot of the things people were saying and hoping for, even on Twitter and social media — there’s a lot of the things we’re not answering in the way that you might think, but we’re going in places I think people are hoping to go.

What John Hoberg’s Update Means For Paradise Season 3
Although Hoberg’s update was fairly cryptic, the fact that he claimedParadisehas ideas for a third season is huge news given how popular the series has become. Not only is it among the stand-out hits of 2025, but it is easily one ofHulu’s best showsyet, making the news of a potential third season extremely encourgaing.
Paradiseseason 3 has not been officially confirmed.
Additionally, the fact thatParadisewill allegedly go in an unexpected direction only adds to season 1’s biggest strength, the mysteries. Despite President Bradford’s killer being revealed, the project still has the potential to maintain this thrilling element, which appears to be the case going forward.
Add in the fact that Hoberg sounds confident about the overall decision-making being sure to please the audience, and it seems like season 3 has the potential to beParadise’s best yet, assuming it gets the go-ahead.

WithParadisemaking a big splash in early 2025, the confirmation of season 2 already provided a lot of reasons to be excited, especially given how fast production is going. However, knowing plans for a third season are in place and that those in charge are full of confidence, it’s hard not to be optimistic about the show’s future.
Paradiseseason 1’s best episode presented plenty of moral challengesand heartbreaking choices that made it one of my favorite episodes of TV this year, and assuming the series can keep that sort of quality going forward, I’ll be fully invested in at least another two seasons.
That said, while Hoberg’s update does come with a lot of enthusiasm, it’s important thatParadisedoesn’t overstay its welcome just because it’s popular. The premise does have longevity, but it still needs to find a natural ending point, and hopefully, season 3 can provide a clear indication of when that may be.
