RELATED:Can PlayStation Now Compete With Game Pass?

A few months back,Sony lowered the price of PlayStation Now to $9.99 a month, cutting half off the cost of the service. PlayStation Now features a pretty large library compared to services like Ubisoft’s Uplay Plus, and EA’s Origin Access subscription. Xbox is a bit more competitive, with all Xbox Exclusives coming to its Game Pass service on day one, but that certainly doesn’t mean that Sony’s is bad.

UnchartedandLost Legacyaren’t alone, either.Overcooked 2will also be joining the PlayStation Now lineup. That gives the service an incredibly strong roster of games, as it features quite a few major PlayStation titles likeBloodborneandGod of War.The addition of the three games make PS Now seem more competitive with Xbox’s subscription.Sony has stated it doesn’t want to compete with Game Pass, but comparisons will always be drawn between the two.

It’ll be interesting to see which titles come to the service in the future. There are a ton of possibilities for the service, and being able to stream them is a neat concept. Who knows, now thatGoogle Stadia has launched to lackluster reviews, maybe Stadia hopefuls will give PlayStation Now a shot instead, filling a streaming-shaped whole left in their hearts. For those apprehensive to stream games, most titles on the service can also be downloaded.
