What is the Max Storage Limit in Pokemon GO?
Pokemon GOhas a limit of only allowing a Trainer to hold up to 300 Pokemon at a time. However, players can upgrade their storage. In the in-game store, players can purchase what is called a “Pokemon Storage Upgrade,” which will increase the max by 50 and will allow trainers to upgrade to a maximum of 6,800 but they won’t be able to go any higher than that.
For those who are concerned about running out of storage,Pokemon HOMEallows trainers to transfer their Pokemon from one game to another or just leave them inPokemon HOMEfor safekeeping. With an upgraded membership plan, players can store 6,000 in there as well with Premium.
If players have some Pokemon they don’t care about keeping, they can also transfer them to the professor, which will give them some candyto then evolve or level up their Pokemonas well, which is a win-win. Players also have the option of trading their Pokemon for ones they don’t have, whether that be throughPokemon GOitself or trading inPokemon HOMEwith people all over the world.
Sadly, all Pokemon franchise games and applications do require players to have a limit on how many Pokemon they can have, but the maximums they give are pretty large enough that trainers won’t need to stress all that much in order to keep their favorite Pokemon and have plenty of room for more.
